Overview
The PetaBox PS (PowerStore) series of data storage units are 1U nodes with capacity ranging from 1 to 4 terabytes of raw disk space. The PowerStore provides significant computing power while maintaining an attractive entry price point.
Standard units include 2GB RAM, dual-core AMD Athlon 64 CPU, hardware RAID,
4 x SATA drives and up to 3 Gigabit Ethernet ports.
Shipped with fedora linux, the PowerStore can take advantage of the full suite of linux tools available, including all of the usual linux filesystems. NFS, FTP, HTTP, or samba may be used to present the data from the PowerStore.

The PetaBox PowerStore series is completely scalable, from individual terabyte nodes to a full petabyte cluster.
